Terms and Conditions 1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions apply to all equine nutrition consultations, feeding plans, reports, recommendations, and related services provided by EB Equine (“the Nutritionist”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking or using our services, you (“the Client”, “owner”, “keeper”, or “you”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. 2. Scope of Services EB Equine provides professional equine nutrition guidance and feeding recommendations based on information supplied by the Client. Services include: Nutritional consultations (remote or in person) Feed and forage analysis interpretation Diet and supplement recommendations Written feeding plans Estimated weight and body condition assessments Ongoing nutritional support packages Follow up discussions around your horse’s diet change for 6 weeks from the date of nutrition consult submission. Recommendations are intended to support general equine health, wellbeing, and performance through nutrition and management advice. Recommendations surrounding diet change will be based on a case-by-case basis, highlighted within each horse’s nutritional consult - the Client is encouraged to ask for guidance if this is not made clear. 3. Client Responsibilities The Client agrees to: Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding the horse’s health, medical history, management, workload, and current diet Disclose all veterinary diagnoses, medications, supplements, and relevant treatments Inform their veterinarian of any significant dietary changes where appropriate Follow feeding recommendations responsibly and introduce dietary changes gradually Monitor the horse closely and seek veterinary advice if any adverse reaction or health concern arises The Client acknowledges that nutritional outcomes may vary between horses due to factors outside EB Equine’s control, including management, environment, exercise, veterinary conditions, forage quality, and individual response. 4. Veterinary Disclaimer Nutrition advice provided by EB Equine is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. If a horse displays signs of illness, pain, lameness, colic, unexplained weight loss, or any medical concern, the Client must seek veterinary attention immediately. EB Equine reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if additional veterinary involvement is deemed necessary. 5. Consultations and Reports Consultations may be conducted in person, by telephone, video call, or email. Written reports and feeding plans are generally issued within 7 working days following receipt of all required information and payment. Recommendations are based entirely on the information provided by the Client at the time of consultation. EB Equine cannot be held responsible for inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the Client. 6. Fees and Payment Fees for services are listed on the website or agreed in writing before booking. Payment is required: In full at the time of booking, or Within 5 days of invoice date Consultations, reports, or follow-up services may be withheld until payment has been received. Travel expenses and mileage charges may apply for in-person visits outside EB Equine’s normal service area. All prices are in GBP unless otherwise stated. 7. Cancellation and Rescheduling Clients must provide at least [24/48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Where insufficient notice is given: Full, nonrefundable payment will be required before the next appointment. If EB Equine must cancel or rearrange an appointment, an alternative appointment will be offered or a refund provided where appropriate. 8. Refund Policy Refunds are not available once a consultation has taken place or a written feeding plan/report has been issued. Refund requests for prepaid services will be considered at EB Equine’s discretion. Where services are cancelled within any legally applicable cooling-off period, refunds will comply with UK consumer legislation. 9. Limitation of Liability EB Equine makes every reasonable effort to provide accurate and evidence-based nutritional advice. However, no guarantee can be made regarding specific outcomes, performance improvements, weight changes, behavioural changes, or medical improvements. To the fullest extent permitted by law: EB Equine shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, damage, or expense arising from implementation of dietary recommendations The Client accepts full responsibility for feeding decisions and management of the horse Any feeds, supplements, or products recommended are used entirely at the Client’s own risk Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability which cannot legally be excluded. 10. Supplements and Product Recommendations EB Equine may recommend feeds, supplements, or third-party products as part of a nutritional plan. Recommendations are made in good faith based on the horse’s individual needs and available information. The Client remains responsible for: Reading manufacturer guidance Checking suitability Introducing products safely Monitoring for adverse reactions EB Equine may receive commission or referral fees from certain suppliers or affiliate partners, where applicable. 11. Confidentiality and Data Protection All personal information and consultation records will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation. Client information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless: Required by law Necessary to protect animal welfare Requested by the Client’s veterinary surgeon or allied professional with consent Anonymous case studies may occasionally be used for educational or marketing purposes unless the Client objects in writing. 12. Intellectual Property All reports, feeding plans, educational materials, website content, and documents provided by EB Equine remain the intellectual property of EB Equine. Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or shared commercially without prior written permission. 13. Force Majeure EB Equine shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, severe weather, transport disruption, internet failure, or emergency situations. 14. Complaints Any complaints should be submitted in writing to office.ebequine@gmail.com. EB Equine aims to acknowledge complaints within 7 working days and resolve them fairly and professionally within a reasonable timeframe. 15. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 16. Acceptance By booking a consultation, making payment, or using any services provided by EB Equine, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
